For the second consecutive year, the Honda Civic was Canada's second-best-selling vehicle. For the ninth consecutive year, the Civic was Canada's best-selling passenger car. It was the lone Honda on this list of Canada's 10 best-selling cars. The Accord ranked 11th.

Toyotas landed in the third, fourth, sixth, and ninth positions. Mazda grabbed the second spot for the second consecutive year. The highest-ranked Detroit brand model was the seventh-ranked Ford Focus.
