Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) has published the entry list of the Spa 24 Hours test day which will take place Wednesday, July 2nd. The Audi Sport customer racing squad will be represented by seven Audi R8 LMS ultra cars.
The Spa 24 Hours test day come few days after Blancpain Endurance Series round three held at the Paul Ricard and will be the last chance for teams and drivers to prepare the Belgian endurance classic.
Five Audi R8 LMS utltra cars will enter the upper Pro-Cup class. The Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will have no less than three cars. Two for their Blancpain Endurance Series regulars, the third one will be driven in the race by recent Le Mans 24 Hours winners André Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer and Marcel Fassler. However the three drivers won't be at Spa and the drivers for #2 Audi at the test day are yet to be announced. The #1 Audi will be driven by Laurens Vanthoor, Cesar Ramos and Marc Basseng. The #3 Audi will be shared by Christopher Mies, Frank Stippler and James Nash.
Sainteloc Racing who are doing well since the start of the season will have their regualr #26 Audi R8 LMS ultra with drivers Edwared Sandström, Stéphane Oretlli and Gregory Guilvert.
The fifth Audi effort in Pro-Cup class is coming from the Czech team ISR. Their #75 Audi R8 LMS ultra will have Salaquarda and Hamprecht as drivers.
Two Audis will enter the Gentlemen Trophy class. The #4 car from Belgian Audi Club driven by Jean-Luc Blanchemain, Yves Weerts, Christian Kelders and Fred Bouvy. The other car is from Team Parker Racing with their #22 Audi R8 LMS ultra shared by Julian Westwood, Chris Jones and Ian Loggie.
