Pirelli World Challenge: Mike Skeen and CRP Racing Audi narrowly missed the podium in Toronto race 1

The Audi drivers performed well in the first of the two Pirelli World Challenge in Toronto. Three cars made it into the top 10 in a very demanding GT class.

Best ranked Audi driver was Mike Skeen in a strong fourth place. Driving the #2 Audi R8 LMS ultra from team CRP Racing he narrowly missed the podium finished right behind the thired placed Johnny O'Conner and his factory Cadillac CTS-V.R.

GMG team owner James Sofronas was seventh with his #14 Audi R8 LMS ultra. His team-mate Andrew Palmer had an unlucky race and finished in ninth place driving the #21 Audi R8 LMS ultra.


Bret Curtis was thirteenth behind the wheels of the #32 GMG Racing run R8 LMS ultra. Bill Ziegler with his #95 Audi from GMG Racing was fourteenth. Positive debut fro Walt Bowlin and M1 Racing with the Audi R8 LMS ultra in Pirelli World Challenge finishing in sixteenth place.

Unfortunately Brent Holden did not finish the race, the driver of the #44 Audi R8 LMS ultra from GMG Racing crashed in the first lap of the race.
