The GT Cup Championship held its season finale at Oulton Park this weekend. United Autosports headed to the final meeting with two cars in the GTO (GT3) class.
The Anglo-American team has run a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 all season long for Jim Geddie, who was in the running for the GT Cup title this weekend. United Autosports also added their Audi R8 LMS ultra to the GT Cup grid this weekend. Businessman Phil Burgan was behind the wheel of the #27 Audi GT3 machine.
Jim Geddie performed very well in the McLaren this weekend. He finished first and second in the two races respectively and claimed the GT Cup drivers’ title in the process for himself and United Autosports.
