America's commercial van market decreased in size in October 2014 as year-over-year volume slid 1.5% on poor GM and declining Ford sales.

Although Ford sold 2257 Transits in October 2014, the E-Series it's replacing was down by 4796 units. 

GM's twins, the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana, fell 13%.

The smaller trio of vans, soon to be joined by the Nissan NV200-based Chevrolet City Express, combined to own 25.3% of the category, up from 18.4% in October 2013. Sales of the Ford Transit Connect, NV200, and Ram Cargo Van all increased.
