The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship is heading to Watkins Glen this upcoming weekend. The beautiful New York circuit will play host to the famous 6 Hours of the Glen.
A total of four Audi R8 LMS cars from three different teams will enter the event within the GT Daytona (GTD) class including the #46 car from Fall Line Motorsports.
At Watkins Glen the American Audi Sport customer racing team will be joined by Audi factory driver Marco Bonanomi. The Italian driver competed recently with Audi Sport Team Joest at the Le Mans 24 Hours with the #3 Audi R18 e-tron quattro.
Marco Bonanomi will share the all blue #46 R8 LMS with Charles Espenlaub and Charlie Putman. The three drivers will try to perform well in a very healthy and demanding GT Daytona field.
Marco Bonanomi has a great experience with the Audi R8 LMS. In 2011 he won the Italian GT Championship with Audi Sport Italia and won the Zolder 24 Hours overall in 2012 with Belgian Audi Club Team WRT.
