Monica & Camilla Berg the JetSet twins from Norway at the Amalfi Coast
Le Sirenuse, this former summer home of a noble family is "in a beautiful fishing village" on the Amalfi Coast. The style is Moorish Baroque, with whitewashed walls and vaulted ceilings. Rooms have glazed floor tiles and shuttered French doors, and most have private terraces; the property has "a big reputation, but we were slightly underwhelmed." La Sponda employs local ricotta and pork in its Neapolitan cuisine. The champagne and oyster bar, open from mid-May through mid-October, occupies its own terrace, and its barmen pour drinks in handblown Murano glasses. "The service could not be better."

Il Riccio Capri Beach Club
Mediterranean Gastronomy Exclusive Restaurant Lifestyle Beach Club Capri Island Neapolitan Riviera Campania Italy
Tucked between the rock and the sea, just a few steps away from the famed BlueGrotto, one comes across Il Riccio, the new restaurant and beach club of the Capri Palace Hotel & Spa. After extensive refurbishments of the historic Add'O Riccio, the restaurant once cherished by Aristotele Onassis, the new Riccio's cuisine and décor are a tribute to the Mediterranean.
The venue's simple and traditional soul has remained untouched complimented by the genuine cuisine of the Mediterranean Sea. No unnecessary frills, but countless authentic flavours. Clients can dine at solid, hand-painted wooden tables next to the sea or chose to relax on one of the solariums spread over intimate terraces.
The kitchen has been entrusted to Andrea Migliaccio, young and talented chef from the Isle of Ischia, with the essences of the sea in his DNA. The dishes are those of the Neapolitan tradition: sea food, shellfish and Gragnano pasta, in addition to a counter dedicated entirely to freshly caught fish from the Mediterranean. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and during sunsets one can enjoy cocktails and a rich selection of appetizers.
